**Instructor will go through citations in paper to verify the data is in it.**
**Graphs and illustrations can be used**
Instructions:
- In addition to meeting expectations under “briefly described” (see next bullet point), the brief clearly describes the context in which existing policies have been applied. The policy brief examines and describes policies in other states or localities and describes how these policies could be improved or adapted to improve health at the Ohio state-level. (She will mark points off if the other state’s policy can not benefit Ohio)
- “Briefly described:” The student provides some explanation of what circumstances led to the creation of the health policy, program, or intervention but more detail is needed. The brief mentions at least two existing Ohio policies in place that are directed toward the chosen health topic. The brief describes some provisions of the policy but not all of them in a clear way. The brief describes only one policy from other states that can influence their policy proposal.
- Please review attached document (specifically section 6) and instructor’s comments to get a feel of what she’s looking for.
