To successfully complete this assignment, you will research a career of your choice that aligns with your major and/or area of interest using the tools on the O*Net Online website (). O*Net is a website created by the U.S. Department of Labor to aid the general public in career exploration and job seeking.
This final version of this assignment is due during Week 10 of the semester, as defined by your instructor.
Helpful Guidelines
- Visit O*Net OnLine () and become acquainted with the materials there. Browse the entire website and familiarize yourself with the different tools and resources.
- After spending a little bit of time on the O*Net website, schedule a time to sit and take the O*Net Interest Profiler. This is a self-assessment tool that will guide you in finding a career that matches your interests and experience. You will need 30 to 60 minutes to complete the assessment.

- You will return to O*Net OnLine often throughout the duration of this assignment. You will find numerous tools to guide you as you search for a career that is a good fit for you based on your major, interests, and your O*Net Interest Profiler results. You will find the required degrees or certificates for your chosen career, current salary postings, and even a list of professional organizations you can join to learn more about the career.
- Using what you learn from your exploration of O*Net OnLine and your O*Net Interest Profiler results, create the following PowerPoint Slides in a slide deck:

To save a PowerPoint presentation as an MP4 file, you can do the following:
- After adding your video to the PowerPoint presentation,
- Click File
- Select Export
- Choose a location to save the file, such as your Desktop or Documents folder
- In the File Format dropdown menu, select MP4
- Select the video quality you want, such as Presentation Quality, Internet Quality, or Low Quality
- If you have recorded timings and want to use them in the video, check the box next to Use Recorded Timings and Narrations
- Click Export
