Exploring the Source
Many diverse art forms and cultures inspired the European and American artists that we have been studying in this course, such as artwork from Japan, China, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.
In this discussion board you will present a work of art or artifact from a non-Western culture that inspired the development of modern art. Describe its iconography, cultural context, and material and visual form.
Once again, please embed an image in your post and cite at least two sources.
