Course Project Overview

IMPORTANT NOTE FROM PROF. SRAN:

This section consists of the project overview as presented in the standardized shell. But as you have probably noticed by now, I like to change things – hopefully for your benefit. 🙂

To make the project a little more straightforward, I have provided templates in the FILES section for each part of the project.

Students MUST use these templates for submitting all project assignments.

If there is a conflict between the instructions given below and the template, please follow the template.

The templates and data can be found in a folder named PROJECT TEMPLATES AND DATA in the FILES section.

Introduction

The Course Project consists of three parts:

• Part A is due at the end of Week 2.
• Part B is due at the end of Week 6.
• Part C is due at the end of Week 7.

The Course Project is worth a total of 330 points.

Your instructor will provide you with a data file that includes data on five variables:

• SALES represents the number of sales made this week.
• CALLS represents the number of sales calls made this week.
• TIME represents the average time per call this week.
• YEARS represents years of experience in the call center.
• TYPE represents the type of training the employee received.
