Question: “Explain the role of the Commission, European Parliament, Council and European Council in the EU, including their respective roles in the passage of legislative acts, delegated acts and implementing acts.” Length: Your answer should be 3,000 words including footnotes. You should ensure that you use, but do not exceed, the word limit. If you do not use the word limit you will be negatively impacting on your grade.
Timing: The paper should be returned to me in 3 weeks, March 27th. If you have completed the paper and are satisfied with it before these dates then you should send it to me at that time.
Format: the paper should be sent as a word document. The document should have the following name: EU followed by your surname, (for example, EU Craig) nothing else. It should be sent to me via email.
Sources: you should use the materials assigned for the course: the textbook, power points and classroom discussion. You do not have to use other sources, and you will not be penalized in any way if you do not do so. If you do look at other sources then take care that you do not invest too much weight in such sources, more especially because you may not be in a good position to assess the quality of the source that you are using.
Sources: you cannot use Chat GPT or any equivalent tool. If you do so the highest possible grade will be C.
