Essential VI encompasses Interprofessional collaboration for improving patient and population health outcomes. To deliver excellent care, interprofessional collaboration is needed to deliver patient-centered care. Interprofessional Collaboration in leadership is vital to the success of an organization and to be able to implement practice change. Looking ahead to your possible practicum project, what strategies could you use as a DNP-student leader to improve interprofessional collaboration and what are some of the characteristics of a collaborative leader?
