For this assignment, you must demonstrate your understanding of how technology can be used, particularly with respect to your chosen concentration (legal studies ), to enhance at least one aspect of the American legal system and/or the publics ability to access it. In addition, you must demonstrate your proficiency with multiple forms of technology related to legal work, such as conducting electronic legal research, creating an electronic slide presentation, and delivering a talk via a common audio-visual software platform.
Think carefully as you choose a topic for this presentation project. This topic cannot be one you wrote about in any of your courses at APUS or any other institute of higher learning. This is your opportunity to explore in-depth a topic in which you may have great interest, especially within the context of practical application in the real legal world. Be brave: choose something about which others are not likely to address, not just a common Legal Studies theme. Explore and enjoy!
Submission Instructions:

- Your presentation must be supported with 10 – 15 Microsoft PowerPoint slides. At least one of those slides must contain a list of the resources (in Bluebook style) upon which you rely to create your presentation.
Components of the Presentation
- Title Slide (does not count towards the minimum or maximum page count).
- Introduction, Body, and Conclusion. An outline will be helpful in drafting the body of your presentation.
- Reference Slide (does count towards the minimum and maximum page count).
Technical Requirements:
- Your presentation must be at or between a minimum of 10 slides and a maximum of 15 slides.
- Only 1 direct quotation is allowed in the presentation; paraphrases and summarizations are acceptable elsewhere.
- Scholarly and credible references should be used. Points will be deducted for using Wikipedia or other encyclopedic-type sources. It is highly advised to utilize books, peer-reviewed journals, articles, archived documents, etc.
- The current Bluebook is the sole citation and reference style allowed.
- Record your Zoom presentation, which should present and discuss your PowerPoint slides. Then, submit the recording as an attachment here for grading purposes.
- All submissions will be graded using the assignment rubric.
