“Scavenger Hunt” Task:

Step #1 – Find and post one link to an article/blog, video clips, or image that illustrates the findings for a psychology-related research study.
Step #2 – Briefly describe the findings of the study and then IDENTIFY what type of research methodology that was used for the study (descriptive, correlational, experimental).

Here are some concepts discussed in the readings and lecture that you might illustrate:

Descriptive designs: Survey of specific population (just describes phenomenon; Naturalistic Observation [participant-observation]; Case Studies
Correlational design: Uses surveys to examine relationship between two or more variables (no manipulation was present)
Experimental designs: Laboratory-based studies (manipulation was present)
