SLO: (4) Apply knowledge and tools to improve the evaluation process and standards.
To acquire the required competency from this SLO, students must read the following assigned text(s):
(Ditelberg,2002); Cardy, Robert Ch 4: and report on the following topics:
- Identify Performance Evaluation: A process of judging the worth of observed performance, good or bad; Measuring Observed performance focusing on what?; Yardstick–Uniform or Calibration?
- Common Performance Characteristics: Widely known performance Criteria-emphasis on personal or technical; All knowing what constitute performance using feedback, training, and job aids, etc.
- Common Standards; Using the same evaluation standards for all; employee dismissal of feedback, etc.
