. You will meet multiple characters and have the opportunity to select only one of the scenarios for this assignment. Once you have completed the experience, answer the questions below.
Answer the following questions as it relates to the St. Martha’s Case Study you watch:
- Provide the conceptual definition of ethics.
- Give a quick overview of the case study at St. Martha’s that you watched.
- The relationship between ethics and morality in the case study.
- The relationship between ethics and legality case study.
- How are ethical decisions different in a medical setting? In what ways are ethical decisions easier in the medical world? In what ways are those decisions more difficult in the medical world and in the case study scenario you watched?
- The major ethical principles involved in the situation (i.e., autonomy, beneficence, maleficence, and justice).
- Discuss the case study scenario as it relates to or displays one or more ethical theories: normative ethics, descriptive ethics, consequential theory, utilitarian theory, deontological ethics, nonconsequential ethics, and ethical relativism.
