1. Who is included in your research?

What social categories are included in your research?

Who might be the default group?

Are any groups overlooked?

2. What role does inequality play?

How does power/privilege shape the social category in your study?

What structural inequalities are present? How are they addressed?

3. Where are there similarities?

If you have multiple social categories, what similarities are present between them? Are you planning to connect them?

How can you balance bringing together similarities and highlighting important differences?
